Terri Yablonsky Stat is a longtime professional writer whose work appears in leading local and national publications including the Chicago Tribune, AARP The Magazine,Parenting, WebMD, Today’s Chicago Woman, NorthShore Magazine, and Chicago Health. She’s also written for many corporations, universities, content marketing agencies and custom publishers. She’s now doing what brings her the most joy, helping students write compelling, polished essays that convey who they are, in their voice. Terri believes that every student has a story to tell, and she brings her many years of feature writing experience to this task. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Summa Cum Laude, and a Master’s in Journalism from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Terri and her husband recently moved from Northbrook to the city. She has a daughter in college and loves working out, reading, and travel.
